The man wanted for shooting at a Santa Maria Police officer and stealing a car at gunpoint over the weekend is behind bars. It started Saturday when police spotted 27-year-old Dustin Morales on their way to a domestic disturbance call. He was wanted on unrelated charges. He pulled a gun and shot at an officer during a struggle. The officer was not hurt. CHP officers arrested Morales in Southern California yesterday.
