Santa Barbara County Jail officials have reported 23 inmates testing positive for COVID-19. Six Sheriff’s Office personnel have also tested positive for the virus. Meanwhile, the outbreak that began last month at the San Luis Obispo County Jail continues. 21 more inmates have tested positive for COVID-19. Sheriff’s Officials in both counties say they have taken steps to quarantine the infected inmates in an effort to slow the spread.
