Cal Fire and Port San Luis Harbor Patrol rescue teams were called out to save a couple of boys in Pismo Beach. Yesterday afternoon, a surfer was spotted clinging to a piling of the Pismo Beach Pier. Witnesses say another surfer tried to help him, but lost his board and was also forced to hang on to a piling. Cal Fire Rescue swimmers were eventually able to get the boys safely back to shore.
