Congressman Salud Carbajal and other state lawmakers have introduced a package of bills to could preserve a million acres of California public lands and wilderness. Carbajal introduced the Central Coast Heritage Protection Act would block new fracking or oil and gas drilling on federal lands on California’s central and southern coasts. The Central Coast Heritage Protection Act is expected to pass in the House later today.
