The coronavirus outbreak could mean the return of the plastic bag–for a little while. Fears of transmitting COVID-19 have grocers across the county saying shoppers can still use their reusable bags, but they’ll have to pack their own groceries. According to KSBY, Vons and Albertsons have directed their employees not to use customer’s bags for packing groceries, to help keep employees as safe as possible.
