Younger Brother Of Murder Victim Headed To Prison

The younger brother of a girl who died at the hands of a meth ring 8 years ago is headed to prison. Dystiny Myers was 15-year-old when her death made headlines in 2010. Her brother, Joshua Myers, who is now 20, was found guilty late last year of two felonies related to the armed robbery of a marijuana delivery driver in December of 2017. Myers returned to court yesterday for sentencing. He’ll spend the next 13-years and eight months in state prison. He’s also facing robbery and gang charges in Santa Maria.
