The investigation into the man who led law enforcement on a pursuit in a stolen CHP vehicle over the weekend has led to a charge of murder. According to San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s investigators, 31-year-old Daniel Raul Rodriguez Johnson allegedly stabbed his pregnant girlfriend to death several hours before being involved in Sunday mornings chase. When Deputies searched Johnson’s home they found the body of 27-year-old Carrington Jane Broussard. Officials say she was pregnant with the couple’s third child. The baby did not survive. The investigation is ongoing.
