The Santa Maria Strawberry Festival has added a new ride to this year’s carnival. Festival officials say the ride O.M.G. has been added the Tilt-a-Whirl, Wipeout, Zipper, and Tornado rides that have been a staple for festival goers over the years. The Santa Maria Valley Strawberry Festival takes place April 26th through the 28th at the Santa Maria Fairpark. Gates will open at noon each day and close at 10 p.m., although the carnival may stay open as late as midnight.
