Closing arguments in the case of a former Grover Beach Police officer whose retired K-9 fatally mauled a Grover Beach man are expected tomorrow. Former officer Alex Geiger was on the stand earlier this week and testified that his dog Neo had a perfect work record and was a playful puppy at home. Neo attacked 85-year-old Betty Long and 64-year-old David Fear in December of 2016. Fear would die from his injuries. Geiger is facing two felony charges and four years in state prison if convicted.
