Grover Beach City officials are considering a plan that could save residents hundreds of thousands of dollars in energy costs while reducing greenhouse gas emissions. The plan from Monterey Bay Community Power’s Community Choice Energy Program would be an investment in renewable energy projects, that could lower electric rates for Grover Beach residents. San Luis Obispo And Morro Bay City officials have already agreed to join the program at the end of the year. Grover Beach plans to revisit the discussion in June.
