An Arroyo Grande Man who pleaded guilty to two counts of attempted murder was sentenced yesterday. 28-year-old Alberto Isaac Gonzalez-Penaloza pleaded guilty back in January to two counts of attempted murder for stabbing and beating two women in a remote area near Lopez Lake almost two years ago. He was sentenced to two consecutive life terms in prison. According to the D.A.’s press release, he won’t be eligible for parole until he has served at least 22 years.
