A couple of Atascadero School District vans were reported stolen early Friday morning. Atascadero Police officers were called out at about 5:30 to a report of a burglary at the district’s transportation center. A few hours after taking the report of the missing vans, police received a tip on where they could be found. The vans were recovered in the parking lot of Hope Lutheran Church. How they got there is still under investigation. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Atascadero P.D.
