A new housing project in Santa Maria has some neighbors concerned. The Santa Maria City Council gave the green light to a 58 single family home project near Waller Lane and Santa Maria Way. While the project will give the City of Santa Maria more housing options, Some neighbors aren’t too keen on the idea of increased traffic in their neighborhood. City officials say they are working with the community to resolve their concerns.
