The 67th annual Lompoc Flower Festival and Parade kicked off yesterday at Ryon Park in Lompoc. his year’s theme for the festival is “summertime fun and friends.” The Flower Festival Parade will kick off Saturday morning at 10 a.m… It will include floats built by a number of local organizations and include flowers and natural materials Following the parade, the Flower Festival will feature carnival rides, arts and crafts exhibitors, food booths, music, and of course plenty of flowers. Since the early 1900’s flowers have been an integral part of the Lompoc economy.
