Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a man who was spotted trying to break into an Orcutt home early yesterday morning. Authorities say it happened shortly before 7 a.m. in the area of Parkview Dr… The homeowner saw the man on her Ring doorbell camera and called 9-1-1. Deputies say the man did not make it inside the home and was arrested as he was leaving the area. 18-year-old Angel Ortiz was found to be in possession of several pairs of sunglasses, and other items related to a rash of vehicle break-ins the night before.
