A child molestation case came to an end on Friday. That’s when a San Luis Obispo Jury returned a guilty verdict for 47-year-old Matthew Betts. Prosecutors say Betts molested the daughter of his girlfriend over a period of several years and was caught inappropriately touching the daughter of another friend in a separate incident. Both victims testified about the abuses on the first day of trial. He now faces the possibility of life in state prison when he’s sentenced next month.
