Santa Maria Police are investigating a late-night shooting incident that sent a female victim to the hospital. Authorities say, officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 1100 block of West Main Street at around 10 p.m… when they arrived they found the victim suffering from a non-life-threatening injury. She was transported to an area hospital for treatment. Police do not believe the shooting was gang-related. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with helpful information about this shooting is asked to contact the Santa Maria Police Department.
