200 People In Paso Robles Due To Receive Eviction Notices On Friday

Roughly 200 people will have to have to find another place to live after a judge allowed a landlord to go out of business, instead of repairing their apartment complex. On Friday, the residents of the Grand View Apartments in Paso Robles will be served with 60 to 90 day notices to vacate. Residents filed a class action lawsuit back in May, accusing the landlords of renting unsafe, vermin-infested apartments. According to the Tribune, the owner of the Grand View Apartments has decided to take the complex off the rental market. Officials with Peoples’ Self-Help Housing say the residents may have a tough time finding affordable housing in Paso Robles.
