Progress is being made on numerous wildfires burning up and down California amid extreme fire danger. Firefighters may get some help from mother nature over the weekend. It remains hot and dry in Southern California. But firefighters have battled back most of the flames on the multiple wildfires that broke out almost simultaneously. Today, strong winds remain a concern until cooler, calmer weather arrives this weekend.
