Santa Maria Police say a weekend DUI checkpoint landed only one person in jail and it wasn’t for DUI. Officers screened close to 300 vehicles between 6 p.m. Friday and 3 a.m. Saturday morning. No arrests were made for DUI involving drugs or alcohol. One person was cited and arrested for driving with a suspended, or revoked license.
