An Atascadero man accused of attempted rape and kidnapping in two separate incidents was in court yesterday. Prosecutors say Tyrone Anderson attacked a Cal Poly student in her apartment in 2017 and was involved in a separate alleged assault and attempted kidnapping of an Atascadero woman in 2018. His defense attorney claims the first victim has a history of lying to get what she wants, adding that he and the second victim had a brief relationship in the past. According to the Tribune, he has pleaded not guilty to 6 felony charges. His trial continues later today.
