The number of confirmed cases of the coronavirus in San Luis Obispo County has reached double digits. Yesterday, San Luis Obispo County emergency services director Wade Horton said six additional cases of COVID-19 had been confirmed. That brings the total number of COVID-19 patients in SLO County to 13. Public health officer Dr. Penny Borenstein said the number was expected, and will probably climb in the coming days, even with the statewide order to shelter at home. All 13 of the cases are recovering at home. There was some good news, some of the earliest patients appear to have fully recovered and may soon be released from quarantine.
