Governor Gavin Newsom has issued a statewide stay at home order to try and slow the coronavirus. First LA County announced it is now ordering residents to stay in their homes for at least the next month. Then moments ago Governor Gavin Newsom announced he is putting place a statewide order — impacting over 40 million people — that must now stay home. All non-essential businesses must shut down. Essential errands like getting food and health care will be allowed. Grocery stores and restaurants offering to go food will stay open.
