As we refrain from driving because of coronavirus and oil output remains higher, the price of gas keeps going down. ABC’s Alex Stone reports the average price of regular unleaded in the U-S is now 1.85 a gallon. That is almost a dollar less than a year ago at this time according to new numbers from the Energy Department. The cheapest gas is in the Midwest at a dollar 55. The most expensive in California where regular unleaded is 2.75 a gallon. The lowest price for gas in San Luis Obispo was 2.69 a gallon at Costco and the Santa Maria Costco was 2.59.
