San Luis Coastal Unified School District has announced the cancellation of in-person classes for the remainder of the year. Late last month, the state superintendent of instruction sent a letter to all county superintendents saying that students likely wouldn’t be able to return to campuses before the end of the school year. San Luis Coastal board members voted unanimously to close campuses through June 4. According to the Tribune, most San Luis Obispo County school districts have not yet announced plans to close for the year, instead, canceling in-person classes through April or indefinitely.
