Developer Arrested Facing Felony Charges

A developer who once promised a three-story bowling alley and entertainment center in downtown San Luis Obispo was arrested this week. The SLO County DA’s Office says Jeremy Pemberton allegedly scammed investors out of 700,000 dollars. He’ll face five felony charges of grand theft, sales of securities by false or misleading statements, and theft from an elderly person when he appears in court next month.
