Hundreds gathered in front of the San Luis Obispo County courthouse yesterday to support local activist Tianna Arata. The #FreeTianna Coalition rally included several speakers who called on County D.A. Dan Dow to drop the criminal charges against the 20-year-old. According to his office, a decision on the eight criminal charges against Arata charges will likely come before her first court appearance without consideration of public pressure. Meanwhile, a counter-protest took place in support of D.A. Dan Dow and the rule of law.
