A San Luis Obispo County man convicted of molesting a 10-year-old boy is being released from prison. 63-year-old Ronald Cowan had been sentenced to 65 years to life in prison in 2014, but due to a prosecutor error, and a plea deal, he’ll be released next week. According to the Tribune, Cowan will be on parole for 10 years and required to register as a sex offender for life.
