Santa Barbara County Health officials are investigating an ongoing coronavirus outbreak affecting dozens of people at a skilled nursing facility in Santa Maria. According to KSBY, the outbreak has affected 38 residents and 24 staff members at the Santa Maria Post Acute Center. State, county, and facility officials are currently working to mitigate further spread. The outbreak is now one of the largest in Santa Barbara County since the beginning of the pandemic.
