SLO County Schools Can Now Reopen With Restrictions

San Luis Obispo county schools grades K through 12 are now have the option to reopen for modified in-person instruction. County Health Officer Dr. Penny Borenstein said, “Local schools are not required to reopen for in-person instruction, but they may choose to reopen if they implement the State’s COVID-19 guidance for schools and school-based programs.” Yesterday marked the second week San Luis Obispo County had been in the “Red Tier,” which allows school reopening under state guidelines.
