Arata Attorneys Call For Gag Order

Attorneys for Tianna Arata have filed a complaint, requesting a gag order for the San Luis Obispo Police Department and the CHP. According to KSBY, the complaint claims the departments have created “blatantly false narratives and prejudicial misinformation” on social media that could “jeopardize Ms. Arata’s rights to a fair trial with an unbiased and impartial jury.” If a gag order is approved, officers from both departments would not be allowed to discuss the case on social media or with the press.
