San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a Cambria man after he allegedly threatened to harm law enforcement officers. According to a Sheriff’s Office press release, deputies responded to a report Monday of a “suicidal suspect” on Bradford Circle. They contacted 36-year-old Adam Helyar. After he refused commands to show his hands and began running toward deputies, they subdued him with less-lethal bean bag rounds. Helyar in county jail and receiving mental health care.
