Some San Luis Obispo residents were evacuated from their homes in the Laguna Lake area after a vegetation fire broke out yesterday afternoon. Firefighters were called out to Pinecove Drive just after 1:30. Quick work had the flames out by 2:15. No injuries were reported. Officials say the fire may have been started by downed electrical wires.
