Grover Beach is moving closer to going green. Officials say the city will begin using clean and renewable energy in January, thanks to its membership with Central Coast Community Energy. Letters explaining that 7,800 Grover Beach residences and businesses that 3CE will become each eligible customer’s primary electric generation service provider while PG&E continues with service for transmission, delivery and billing. The goal is to have Grover Beach using 100% clean and renewable energy by 2030.
