Santa Maria Police investigators are asking for the public’s help identify the person or persons involved in a deadly shooting. It happened Saturday afternoon at around 4:30 on West El Camino Street. Officers responded to a call regarding shots fired. When they arrived, they found a male victim with a fatal gunshot wound. The suspect or suspects fled before officers arrived. Anyone with helpful information about this shooting is asked to contact the Santa Maria P.D..
