Lompoc Police took a known gang member into custody over the weekend. Authorities say they started looking for 19-year-old Pablo Torres after his truck was seen leaving an area where a 12-year-old had been assaulted by two people. Officers caught up with Torres a short time later and found a loaded rifle in his truck. He was arrested on suspicion of being a felon in possession of a firearm, a parole violation.
