SLO Move Into Orange Tier

San Luis Obispo County is now in the Orange Tier of the state’s reopening blueprint. According to a press release, County Health Officer Dr. Penny Borenstein asked the state to review some data discrepancies and include a portion of Cal Poly tests in the overall testing volume. State officials found SLO County met the requirements to move into the less restrictive tier. Restaurants, Gyms, Wineries and breweries, and movie theaters can increase their indoor seating capacities. The less restrictive tier will go into effect this morning.
