You may notice some unusual activity at the San Luis Obispo Regional Airport this afternoon. Smoke and emergency vehicles will be visible as crews hold an emergency response exercise. It’ll happen between 1 and 4:30 this afternoon. Local first responders and volunteers will take part in the full-scale mock emergency. The exercise will not affect flight schedules or normal operations.
