San Luis Obispo County Clerk-Recorder Tommy Gong is resigning. He made the announcement Friday. He was elected County Clerk-Recorder in 2014. He decided to take a job as the Deputy County Clerk-Recorder for Contra Costa County to be closer to his family and his elderly parents.
