While above average rainfall has had a positive impact on most local reservoirs, one is still near drought levels. South San Luis Obispo County Water officials are concerned that if water levels at Lopez Lake don’t increase, the Five Cities area will be faced with water restrictions. Lopez is currently at 49 percent full. Other reservoirs in the county, such as Lake Nacimiento, Well Rock in Morro Bay and Santa Margarita lake levels range from 68 percent to 101 percent full.
