San Luis Obispo County Health officials say several county residents are in self-observation, not quarantine after they traveled to areas known to have outbreaks of coronavirus. The residents are not confined to their homes but are asked to report the first signs of COVID-19 symptoms. Those include fever, shortness of breath and a dry cough. Officials recommend people take common, everyday flu prevention measures to help reduce the spread of COVID-19, such as washing your hands, staying home if you are sick and using emergency services only if you feel very ill.
