Like many other fairs and festivals in California, the fate of this year’s Santa Barbara County Fair is unclear. According to KEYT, Santa Maria Fairpark officials are asking residents to join a letter-writing campaign, asking lawmakers to help the Fairpark with state funding. They add that if the county fair is canceled, a planned Fall Festival may help keep the Fairpark running.
