18 National Forests In California Closed

Due to the explosive growth of fires in California, all 18 national forests in the state have been closed to the public. Roughly two dozen wildfires are burning around the state. Burning more than 2.5 million acres, and stretching state resources. Local fire officials say, even with departments sending firefighters from San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Counties to blazes out of the area, they are still staffed and ready for any local emergency.
