A Lompoc man is facing attempted murder and kidnapping charges. Police allege 50-year-old Billie Marable forced his ex-girlfriend, at gunpoint, to drive her vehicle to Central Avenue where she attempted to escape by pulling her vehicle over and fight the suspect for a handgun. Police eventually caught up with Marable and booked him on several felony charges.
