Two weeks after returning to in-person learning, St. Joseph High School in Orcutt is closing temporarily due to COVID-19 concerns. In a Facebook post Principal, Erinn Dougherty said the decision to close came when school officials were made aware of a positive student case. She says the student attended a party last Friday with a student from another school who ended up testing positive for COVID-19. Students will return to online learning for the time being.
