Police Review Use Of Tear Gas During BLM Protest

A new “After Action Report” regarding the June 1 Black Lives Matter demonstration has been released. According to The Tribune, the report identified lessons learned, and areas of improvement to lessen the likelihood of chemical munitions being used in similar situations in the future. Local racial and social justice groups will probably not be happy with some of the recommendations included in the report, such as deploying more officers and using better police equipment. The City Council plans to review the report on February 16th. You can weigh in on Zoom.
