The San Luis Obispo City Council will be taking a look at a couple of ordinances that address abandoned shopping carts and tents in city parks. The proposed ordinance would hold businesses responsible for retaining and retrieving carts that are taken from their properties. Officials are hopeful it would also cut down on litter, clutter, and visual blight. A second ordinance lets the people know tents and enclosed structures are not allowed in public parks.
