A former Uber driver from Santa Maria who was convicted of 13 felonies involving five women was sentenced yesterday. A jury found 42-year-old Alfonso Alarcon-Nunez guilty of charges that included assault with the intent to commit rape during a residential burglary, four counts of burglary of an occupied residence, one count of rape by force, two counts of rape of an intoxicated person, and grand theft. He’ll spend at least the next 54 years in prison.
