Atascadero Police took more guns and drugs off the streets this week. At about 2 a.m. Tuesday, an officer noticed a man looking into a parked car in a motel parking lot. Officers detained 27-year-old Manuel Catron, Jr., and discovered a knife under his shirt and a pistol in his waistband. They also found more knives, a rifle, a stun gun, drug paraphernalia, a baggie of suspected meth, another with suspected heroin, and a third with Xanax. Bail was set at 50,000 dollars.
